MULTIMEDIA SPECIALIST

Both recognized video marketing was undergoing explosive growth and they were prepared to be on the forefront.  CNTV quickly took off as Carrie and Marcelo formed relationships in the meetings industry and built a reputation for producing high-quality, engaging broadcast content.  

 

CNTV is now the premiere video production company in the Exhibitions and Events industry servicing associations, for-profit trade show organizers and corporations around the country.   The combination of live television experience with an in-depth knowledge of the meetings and events makes CNTV a unique company in the industry. 

 

Position Overview: 

CNTV's Multimedia Specialist plays a pivotal role in elevating the quality and production value of our videos, contributing to our customers' success. Through the production of dynamic 2D motion graphics and adept utilization of available software and production technology, they enhance our award-winning videos. The ideal candidate for this role is innovative, proficient in AI tools, and adept at meeting deadlines. They possess expert motion graphic design, editing, and videography skills, essential for delivering impactful content. Projects span from creating virtual sets to diverse video formats, demanding both creativity and technical prowess. Additionally, responsibilities may extend to crafting marketing materials and updating websites, ensuring a cohesive and impactful multimedia presence across all channels.

Daily Duties:

  • Motion Graphics Design:

    • Create motion graphics, animations, and visual effects using software such as Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, or similar tools.

    • Develop storyboard concepts and design elements to visually communicate ideas and concepts.

    • Experiment with different styles, techniques, and effects to achieve desired visual outcomes.

  • Video Editing:

    • Edit raw video footage into polished, cohesive sequences using video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

    • Arrange and trim clips, add transitions, and adjust timing to create a seamless flow of content.

    • Incorporate visual effects, motion graphics, and other elements to enhance storytelling and engage viewers.

  • Graphic Design:

    • Design and create graphic elements such as logos, titles, and lower thirds to be used in videos.

    • Develop visual assets for marketing materials, social media posts, or other promotional content.

  • In House Studio Camera Operation:

    • Review edited videos and motion graphics to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.

    • Check for errors, inconsistencies, or technical issues and make necessary corrections.

  • Continuous Learning and Skill Development:

    • Stay updated on industry trends, new software features, and emerging techniques through online tutorials, workshops, or professional development resources.

    • Experiment with new tools, plugins, and workflows to improve efficiency and expand skill set.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborate with other team members, such as videographers, writers, and producers, to ensure cohesive project execution.

    • Communicate effectively with team members and to clarify expectations, provide updates, and address any concerns or challenges.

 

On-Set/Studio Production Motion Graphics Integration:

  • Implement real-time motion graphics and visual effects during studio shoots, using techniques such as green/blue screen compositing or live graphics overlays.

  • Coordinate with the production team to seamlessly integrate motion graphics elements into the live filming process.

  • Knowledge of  advanced studio production techniques such as blending hybrid digital & physical sets, using projection mapping, LED Screens or equivalent to produce rich production environments.

 

Post-Production Editing and Enhancement:

  • Edit and enhance video footage from in-house studio productions, incorporating motion graphics, titles, and visual effects as necessary.

  • Ensure continuity and coherence between studio-shot footage and additional content captured on location or in post-production.

 

Compensation Range:  $65-75k plus benefits

Requirements:
–  Creative Agency or Television news promotions experience
– Expert level Motion Graphics Ability
– Expert level Editing
– Intermediate level videography 
– Ability to work in Winter Park, Florida

​

Preferences:
– Knowledge of latest techniques in all things post production

- Lifelong learning always looking for new technology
– Marketing experience

​

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a motion graphics designer, video editor, or videographer, preferably in a creative agency, news room  or production environment with reasonably tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).

  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.

  • Excellent visual storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

  • Solid understanding 2d motion graphics, editing & videography

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and concepts.

 

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time position based at our Winter Park office.

  • Up to 20% travel may be required for on-location shoots or client meetings.

  • Portfolio demonstrating relevant work samples is required for consideration.
