CNTV began in 2007 as the blending of two diverse forces: Marcelo Zolessi’s entrepreneurial spirit and Carrie Ferenac’s expertise in television news. Both recognized video marketing was undergoing explosive growth and they were prepared to be on the forefront.  CNTV quickly took off as Carrie and Marcelo formed relationships in the meetings industry and built a reputation for producing high-quality, engaging broadcast content.  

 

CNTV is now the premiere video production company in the Exhibitions and Events industry servicing associations, for-profit trade show organizers and corporations around the country.   The combination of live television experience with an in-depth knowledge of the meetings and events makes CNTV a unique company in the industry. 

 

Position Overview: 

CNTV is looking for a Director of Production who will be responsible for producers, videographers and editors who create content for CNTV clients.   This role requires strong leadership, management, and accountability skills to ensure the team consistently meets its deadlines and delivers high-quality video content.  This person will join our leadership team and be based in our Orlando studio location.   They will work closely with the owners to take care of our clients, while providing professional development for our team.

Daily Duties:

  • Team Leadership: Provide daily guidance, support, and motivation to the video production team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Project Oversight: Monitor the progress of ongoing video projects, ensuring they adhere to timelines and quality standards.

  • Staffing:  Assign Content Managers to projects, and make sure they have the teams in place to complete the work. 

  • Creative Direction: Offer creative input and feedback to enhance the quality and creativity of video content.

  • Problem-Solving: Address any issues or obstacles that may arise during daily production activities promptly.

  • Quality Control: Review and approve all work at various stages of production to maintain high-quality standards.

  • Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure everyone is aligned on project objectives.

 

Weekly Duties:

  • Team Meetings: Conduct regular team meetings to review project progress, discuss challenges, and set goals for the upcoming week.

  • Performance Evaluations: Provide constructive feedback and conduct performance evaluations for team members, addressing areas for improvement and recognition.

  • Workflow Optimization: Continuously assess and refine production processes to improve efficiency and quality.

 

Quarterly Duties:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and update a quarterly video production strategy, outlining goals, objectives, and resource requirements.

  • Training and Development: Identify training needs within the team and implement professional development plans.

  • Vendor Relationships: Evaluate and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to secure competitive rates and services.

  • Technology Assessment: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and assess the need for new technology or software to enhance production capabilities.

 

Annual Duties:

  • Yearly Assessment: Conduct a comprehensive review of the video production department's performance over the past year, including achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Goal Setting: Collaborate with leadership team to set annual goals and objectives for the video production team.

  • Team Development: Implement long-term talent development and succession planning strategies.

 

Compensation Range:  $85-100k plus benefits

Requirements:
